Hope : to want something to happen and think that it is possible. Examples : We are hoping for good weather on Sunday. All we can do now is wait and hope. ‘Do you think it will rain?’ ‘I hope not.’ ‘Will you be back before dark?’ ‘I hope so, yes.’ .................................... Dream a wish to have or be something, especially one that seems difficult to achieve Examples: Her lifelong dream was to be a famous writer. He wanted to be rich but it was an impossible dream. If I win, it will be a dream come true. She tried to turn her dream of running her own business into reality. a dream car / house / job, etc. I’ve finally found the man of my dreams. a chance to fulfil a childhood dream Ç

Hope is something you wish for, something you're optimistic about and you expect or want to happen. When a person does something they hope for success. When something (you're optimistic about) is happening, you hope for a good outcome. A dream is something you desire, something wonderful, a fantasy. It's not based on reason. For example, you dream about all the things you want to do. Or you dream about all the places you could go. If want your dreams to come true, you need to get up and make them happen.

Hoping you have the chance that something will be real. Is based on confidence, in the faith. Is only a matter of time. High probability of occurrence. In a dream, you're out of reality, is an illusion, has no firm basis to await his execution. Unlikely that the event happens.
