How do you eat noodles with 筷子?
Is it okay to cut them with a knife first, or is that considered to be bad manners? (I did never cut my noodles, but I still feel uncormfortable when I use chopsticks.)

NEVER cut our noodles with a knife. You won't be able to eat them after that. Anyway, practice makes perfect. Keep at it and good luck.

similar to how to eat long noodle by fork, get the middle of noodle, hold that and keep turning until that all rapped together.
Also you could try to eat that by suck that in which i do not suggest.

Ja, ich habe die Meinung, dass es nicht so gut ist, die Nudeln abzuschneiden...uhhhh, tut mir Leid, mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut also darf ich auf Englisch sprechen?
Chopsticks, mayB, the best example for the principle of leverage. Almost all the chinese people use them to eat. My opinion, if u r in such a formal occasions, better not do that coz it looks so weird but otherwise, do what u like to do. U know when i was a kid, i usually rotate my chopsticks to entwine the noodles around them and eat the noodles in a kabob way. Quite funny, richtig?^_^
PS: Bravo Thomas Vanek the Austrian Sniper!
