It's sunny today. Recently, in math class, I've been focusing on finding the Greatest Common Factor and Least Common Multiple, AKA, GCF & LCM. It’s rather simple to find the GCF of numbers by listing all the factors out and identifying the common ones. However, as for the LCM, things get a lot trickier, especially when dealing with some big numbers. To find the LCM, you need to determine the prime factorization of each number. Then, you identify the repeated prime factors among the numbers and cross out them, i.e., you only include each repeated factor once when you multiply all the prime factors together at the end. This method might not seem too complex, but it can get your mind tangled up easily. I am not confident to say I’ve gotten the hang of it yet. More practice I need to do shortly.

We used to say Highest (rather than Greatest) common factor. Can always be a bit tricky to work out.
