1. When I choose a girlfriend, I look at inside more than outside.
Do you understand what I am trying to say?
Do you say like that?
That means like I don't care her appearance much and I care her personality, her character, her hobby and etc..
If it sounds unnatural, please teach me some good expressions.

2-1. I hope that my girlfriend has the same tastes in most things.
2-2. I like a person who is like me as my girlfriend.
Do you say like these?
That means like I like sports and I hope that she likes sports.
If these sound unnatural, please teach me some good expressions.
Thank you so much in advance!!!!! :)

I would suggest:
When I'm looking for girls to date, I'm more concerned with their personality than their appearance.
I prefer a girlfriend who has interests that are similar to mine.

For #1, I would say any of these things:
"I look at her character, rather than her appearance."
"I look for what will last, rather than what will fade."
"I look for depth rather than the superficial."
For #2, I would say:
"I hope she will have common interests and common values with me."
For #3, this is unusual but I would say:
"I want for us to be birds of a feather."
