The Republic of Kazakhstan, located in the very heart of Eurasia, appeared on the geopolitical map only in 1991. The word of Turkic origin "Kazakh" means "free man".
The Great Silk Road passed through the Kazakh lands. Kazakhstan was the most important link in the chain of cultural, trade and economic relations between Asia and Europe.
The citizens of Kazakhstan are proud of their multinational state. Currently, representatives of about 130 nationalities live in Kazakhstan. The predominant religions in the Republic are Islam and Christianity.
The state language in the Republic of Kazakhstan is Kazakh, the Russian language has the status of a language of interethnic communication and is used on an equal basis with the state language. The young generation speaks three languages, including English.
The capital of Kazakhstan is Nur-Sultan. In 1999, Nur-Sultan was awarded the UNESCO (City of Peace) Prize.
The beauty of Kazakhstan's nature is incredible and difficult to describe in words. Even the most inveterate traveler will discover many interesting and beautiful things in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is a hospitable state. Therefore, I invite everyone to visit my country.
