Hi everyone,
Would you say "Thank you for X and Y" or "Thank you for X and for Y"? Is there any difference?
E.g. Thank you for being considerate and attentive
or Thank you for being considerate and for being attentive
E.g. Thank you for your advice and the tea
Thank you for your advice and for the tea
(It's like one of your friends let you in, offered you some tea, you chatted and you got some advice)

Thank you for being understanding and considerate. For being is identical so no need - they have the same verb so no need to repeat it.
Thank you for being so kind and listening to me - for is identical so no need to repeat it.
Of course, you can repeat if you want to. It's simply not necessary to do so

I also agree that “thank you for (doing) A and B” is better.
