Recently, I had a class with my English teacher and we were using GPT to create Russian sentences and translate them into English...
So, one of them was as follows:
Если бы Гэндальф мог лучше объяснить свои планы, Фродо не стал бы сомневаться.

Can anybody help me to find the best way to translate this correctly and in the native way? I'm very curious about the best way to do it.

I believe all of the above are reasonable translations. The last one gets rid of the if/then aspect and is more declarative.
