I am going to share something insanely funny i came across.  I am learning Japanese, I was watching this  anime when I came across some very very hilarious translation error.

This character said this line: "People die if they are killed"

 Then that same guy said this in some other episode: "You may be correct, but that doesn't mean you are right"


Pretty rip-roaring, eh?

have you come across some funny translation error like this?

Hello.
How do I refer to myself to other people in these situations?
1. to male friends of same age.
2. to female friends of same age.
3. to senpais. both male and female.
 4. to teachers and other formal relations.

I mean do I use Watashi 私  or Boku 僕 or Ore 俺? 
Or is there any other alternative?

I think I used 'ore' to send a few messages here.But later i came to know it is very rough? someone can clarify?

Also how do I refer to other people?

Is it anata? あなた? (I have heard couples and married couples use anata, so I am not sure?)
Or is it kimi? ( isn't this too rough?)
