Extremely sad day for me :( :( :(
Hey guys I'm just going to vent a little here because I don't really like venting on Facebook.
So today has been an absolute horrible day for me because I left my bag in a bus.
The bag had my wallet, a pack of cigarettes, a 3 month XBOX live membership card, and my passport. The wallet had around 350 USD in it which is really depressing :( . I was carelessly chatting on my tablet when I was getting of the bus and did not realize I left my bad on the seat. There was only 1 person on the bus and hopefully he found it and gave it to our local police station. My passport had my address on it so hopefully he will be kind enough to bring my stuff back to me.
I really hope that whoever finds my bag is a nice person and has a conscience. Although it was not all bad as most of you probably already know about Osama Bin Laden's death today. As an American this is quite a thing for me. If the higher power wanted my 350$ in exchange for Bin Laden's death I would gladly accept. I'll probably just try and think of it that way to ease this hopefully temporary depression.

The most important thing to learning English.
Hi everyone :) To anyone who really wants to speak English fluently, I offer you an invaluable advice. Always be confidfent when you are learning.
The biggest mistake a student can do is to be afraid of making mistakes. You guys have to realize that the more mistakes you make the better you get (as long as you are corrected). Always speak with confidence because it goes hand in hand with fluency. I cannot stress this enough.
If you speak with native english speakers from this website, it would mean that theyare in a similar situation that you are in and they would'nt laugh at you for making grammatical errors or silly phrases.
Personally guys, what I don't appreciate are students of the language who give half assed efforts. It will take you alot more time if not a lifetime to master English if you approach learning it with a 'so-so' attitude. I am aware that some people's culture is to be withrawn and reserved but you have to make decent efforts to try and learn. ISome people may only need to learn English at a certain level but for those who want to take it a few steps further.. please heed my advice.
I have a Japanese friend, who before coming here to study knew extremely basic English. He has been living here for 4 years now and is a Registered Lawyer here in Australia. I am not joking when I say that his muster of the English language surpasses mine. Whenever we go out he is our 'loudmouth'. He cracks most of the jokes and laughs the loudest. I attribute his achievments to his determination and hard work.

Hello there I'm Andre.
Im 22 from Melbourne Australia, originally from Maryland, USA.
I'm going to take up teaching in University majoring in English. In the future I want to go to Japan and teach English to Elementary, and High school kids, I don't speak Japanese but I understand a few words from watching animes. Anime by the way is not the reason I wana to to Japan.
I want to experience and learn their culture, language, people. I LOOOVE JAPAN!
Anyways, I want to be able to have regular conversations in English with Japanese people over skype as a way of practicing my teaching and explanation skills via casual conversations. You can try and teach me Japanese but I have not started the effort to learn it yet and we will probably start from scratch which will be counter productive to my partner learning English.
Hopefully I can help sum1 better their oral/spoken English.
