I have learned so much about foreign languages and the language learning process through my Spanish degree in university and in learning German on my own outside of the classroom. Learning a new language truly opens up entirely new worlds of travel, cultural understanding, music, movies, television, and opportunities to connect with new people. I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.

Having learned a few languages myself, I know how important it is to keep lessons engaging and practical. That's why I try to do as many interactive exercises and drills as possible while keeping the grammar stuff to a minimum, where possible. But the truth is, you will have to learn some grammar when learning German, there's no way around it. But I promise I'll make sure to make the grammar parts as fun and engaging as possible. Plus I provide all the teaching material and exercise sheets, so you won't have to worry about getting books or anything like that.

Ich wollte eine Lehrerin werden, seitdem ich 13 bin. Ich habe mich in zwei Ländern spezialisiert und verschiedene Lernmethoden und Bildungssysteme (Polen, Deutschland, Chile und Argentinien) kennengelernt. Ich will in der Zukunft meine alternative Schule eröffnen, wo Kinder in der Natur Theater und Fremdsprachen lernen. Für mich eine Lehrerin zu sein bedeutet eine große Verantwortung und gleichzeitig viel Spaß. I wanted always to be a teacher. I studied in two countries (Poland and Germany) and i spezialized in differents way to teach. In the future i want to open alternative school with theatre and german. To be a teacher is for me great responsability and many joy.

I mainly apply the communicative, audio-lingual, and direct methods which make lessons more interactive. All lessons are tailored to the learning preferences of a particular student to increase motivation and make the lesson more engaging. I also prepare for high level language exams (C1 Goethe Zertifikat for German and French DALF)

Mir wurde in meiner Schulzeit oft gesagt dass ich eine sehr ruhige und präzise Art und Weise des Erklärens habe, deshalb habe ich mich auch entschieden dem Unterrichten auf Italki eine Chance zu geben. Als Lehrer versuche ich jeden Fehler beim sprechen rauszuhören und immer auch gleich Korrekturen mitzugeben. I was often told during my school days that I have a very precise and calm way of explaining, which is why I decided to give teaching on Italki a try. I focus as a teacher to always pick out every mistake during speaking and to always give corrections. I am also comfortable enough to give corrections, or answers in English.

Language learner and patient tutor I am very patient and understand the struggles of learning a new language as I have spent a couple years on italki as a student myself and continue taking lessons regularly. As a teacher I try to do the things that I have found most useful as a learner. We can speak about what interests you, read texts together or watch videos online and then talk about those. I do want to help you with whatever you need, so we will start by speaking about your goals and expectations regarding the lessons. I do not believe in studying grammar charts or vocabulary lists, but I do believe in improving those areas by gaining a natural understanding of how a language works through listening, reading an speaking.
