As someone who used to stutter and dislike languages (and especially the pesky grammar), getting into intense-self-studies to improve my English became my origin story. I worked as teacher for English in my hometown for 2 years afterward, after acquiring a C2 certificate from Cambridge. This encouraged me to also intensely study and re-fresh the German grammar, phonetics and teaching techniques (didactic) before starting to teach it online full-time. (it included a lot of head-shaking, and I’m a native) Through that, and my pursuit to master art I don’t believe in inherited talent, but pursued interest. Everyone can, through dedication, practice and fun, learn to speak a foreign language.

Having learned a few languages myself, I know how important it is to keep lessons engaging and practical. That's why I try to do as many interactive exercises and drills as possible while keeping the grammar stuff to a minimum, where possible. But the truth is, you will have to learn some grammar when learning German, there's no way around it. But I promise I'll make sure to make the grammar parts as fun and engaging as possible. Plus I provide all the teaching material and exercise sheets, so you won't have to worry about getting books or anything like that.

You don't have to struggle with endless amounts of grammar exercises, studying grammar books or long lists of vocabulary in order to gain fluidity. Before children learn about grammar rules in school they are about 10 years and speak fluently. I have been tutoring children and teenagers for 10 years now and concentrating on conversations mostly as well as keeping them motivated is one of the most essential tools.
