I was ready to learn efficiently, so I called a language school. They told me it ONLY takes a year to get to A1. I hung up & reached B2 by myself in 6 months!🚀 Then I scheduled some trial classes with a few French tutors. Sadly, many lacked English skills. Others couldn't break down simple ideas like 'bonjour' = 'bon' (good) + 'jour' (day). Indeed, being a native speaker doesn't always equate to being a good tutor.
