É por isso que nas minhas aulas eu ensino não apenas gramática e vocabulário, mas também crio situações nas quais meus alunos podem usar as estruturas novas. I believe that learning a language is like learning how to swim. You can only learn it if you do it. There's no use learning lots of grammar rules if you can't practice them in a real conversation. That's why in my lessons I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but I also create situations in which my students will be able to use the structures we see.

When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our previous sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes (I now conduct my lessons on Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.
