My first job as a teacher was in Portugal, where I was teaching English to children aged 3 to 7 years in a kindergarten. In Brazil, I had been teaching English and Portuguese for children and adults of all ages in schools and online classes. I worked as an English teacher in a school in the north of Italy, in the city of Schio. Ensino inglês desde 2007. My long experience as a language teacher in a number of different teaching environments has made me resourceful and versatile and has enabled me to adapt to any teaching situation . It has also taught me how to adjust my teaching style to suit the type of lesson and no less importantly, what material and methodology to choose to achieve the desired outcome.

I graduated from Law School but decided to keep teaching, which is something I do until this day and intend to do for a long time. So I have plenty of experience. I've used books from several widely known institutions and have attended several trainings, but I find that conversation is the best way to learn as all the other aspects of the language can be developed from that.

É por isso que nas minhas aulas eu ensino não apenas gramática e vocabulário, mas também crio situações nas quais meus alunos podem usar as estruturas novas. I believe that learning a language is like learning how to swim. You can only learn it if you do it. There's no use learning lots of grammar rules if you can't practice them in a real conversation. That's why in my lessons I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but I also create situations in which my students will be able to use the structures we see.
