We have multiple holidays in Singapore. Many days related to religion (Muslim, Buddhist, and Christian). Overall it is about 1-3 days and combines with weekends, it makes a good short break for us. As Singapore is a well-managed country but we like to explore other parts of the world, we tend to plan the holiday in advance if we need to travel out of the country. Common destinations are Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam...where we can enjoy different food, culture and sometimes to visit friends.

Brazil is holidays paradise. We have a lot of them. Because of this, by law we can celebrate only 13 of them. Every city can choose what they want to celebrate locally, besides the national holidays like Independence Day, Christmas, New Year, Labor Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day and other religious ones. The best part is that if the holiday happens on a Tuesday, for example, probably we will find a way to skip the Monday e take the opportunity to travel for four days, since we usually do not work on weekends.

En mi país, tenemos un celebración de Thanksgiving. El celebración es un tiempo de año en noviembre. El fecha de thanksgiving es no mismo todo año- en cambio, el día es sobre el final jueves de el mesa noviembre. Me encanta thanksgiving porque hay mucha comida deliciosa. Como, macarrones con queso (mi favorito), frijoles verdes, relleno de pan de maíz, y por supuesto pavo!! Es una dia estar con su familia y amigos. Una dia con amor y la risa.

Everyone likes holidays around the world. A holiday means that you can have a few days off to do something fun, such as a short trip, a family reunion or just sleep in every day. Usually a holiday represents a special culture or for celebrating a famous person in history. In my country, we have many holidays throughout a year. Most of them are about farming. The next holiday is the Qingming Festival on April 4th this year. This time is the best time for people living along the middle and downstream of the Yellow River to farm. That area was the center of China over many thousand years. So, the ancient people there found the rule and created a festival to remind people. Then it became a holiday which also reminds us that this is the best time to do everything, don't waste time. Later, we will have the Dragonboat Festival which is in memory of our famous patriotic poet Quyuan. After enjoy a few holidays, fall will come, The Moon Festival, the National Day are waiting for us.
