I always recommend people to travel to Mexico. Many people in my country believe that Mexico is a dangerous country because of many news about violence, drugs and cartels. I was one of them who believed so. But one day I decided to travel to Mexico, just because the ticket was cheap and I had free time during Spring break. I hardly planned anything for my 7-day trip, besides booking a plane ticket and accommodations.
It was March when I first arrived in Mexico. Jacarandas were blooming all around the street, moving its branches as if they were greeting me. The weather was pretty nice, not too cold not too warm. The architecture was so beautiful and you could find plenty of beautiful old buildings at every corner. All around the city was covered with beautiful music from street musicians. Mexican food was superb. You would never ever find authentic Mexican food anywhere else in the world besides in Mexico (at least I have never found one). Local people I met were so friendly and made me feel welcomed. I also visited some touristic places like pyramids, castles, museums and beaches. I traveled to Mexico four times but there are still so many things I would like to explore in Mexico. I wonder if one year would be enough to get to know Mexico, a country rich in culture and history.
If Mexico were a human, he (or she?) would be a handsome but humble guy, mysterious but interesting and attractive. There might be some dangerous parts but if you are careful and plan things well, I am sure you would enjoy Mexico like I did.
