Hello there. I'm Idil, an astrophysicist from Turkey, currently living in Padova, Italy. I am also a musician and a dancer. My biggest passion is travelling and now I have found the perfect place to meet new faces from all over the world by surfing Italki! Merhaba, ben İdil. Minha atuação como professor

I started my teaching career by giving English and Mathematics lessons to adults and children during my undergraduate education. I continued tutoring by teaching Turkish to foreigners in Istanbul. With the advent of the pandemic, I continued training independently and online. Now I'm here to meet a wider audience, teach more and have more fun. I look forward to meeting you and having conversations on the topics of your choice and desire! Öğretmenlik kariyerime lisans eğitimim sırasında yetişkinlere ve çocuklara İngilizce ve Matematik dersleri vererek başladım ve İstanbul'da yabancılara Türkçe dersleri vererek devam ettim. Pandemiyle birlikte şu an derslere çevrimiçi devam etmekteyim.

Indispensable elements among my teaching methods; are friendliness, patience, fun, and stability. I prepare special materials for lessons and use grammar books, listenings, and reading texts. I take great pleasure in exploring the potential and learning methods of the people I work with and choosing materials and conversation topics according to their interests. Dersler için özel materyaller ve ödevler hazırlıyorum ve birlikte çalıştığım kişilerin potansiyellerini keşfetmekten büyük keyif alıyorum. Herkesin öğrenme yönteminin farklılığının farkında olarak sizin en iyi olduğunuz şekilde öğrendiklerinizi pekiştiriyoruz. Ayrıca konuşma derslerinin benim için vazgeçilmezliğini de belirtmeliyim.

Great first lesson with Idil! I immediately felt comfortable talking with her, as she really tried to understand my specific needs and showed me how much she cares about her students. She gave me precious hints to help me improve my Turkish while creating a constructive and relaxed environment, where I did not fear making mistakes. At the end of the lesson, she provided me with feedback, extra materials, and homework to continue my learning. I definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their Turkish in a motivating and cheerful environment. Looking forward to the next lesson!
