I recently had an online tutoring session that unfortunately did not meet my expectations. The session was conducted in a manner that lacked warmth and positive energy, which made it difficult to stay engaged. From the start, the tutor did not seem to create a welcoming or supportive atmosphere. Her demeanor was not particularly caring or calm, which I believe is critical for a productive learning environment. Additionally, there was minimal use of positive reinforcement, and it often felt like my comprehension of the material was not a priority. I left the session feeling that more effort could have been made to ensure that I felt encouraged and confident in my learning journey. I would appreciate a more caring, attentive approach that fosters a genuine connection and a desire to help students grasp the subject matter.
