I have been taking classes with Han Ssaem consistently and I still very much enjoy his teaching style. I feel encouraged to keep learning and that I am continuously progressing. I feel like his method of not having you study a lot of grammar to begin with but rather learn it in a more organic and natural way is actually making it stick better. 감사합니다!

He's dedicated about preparing a customized curriculum, extremely fun and patient, puts a lot of care in his teaching methodology, and simply very personable! Our classes always fly by and feel very stress-free, but learning a lot at the same time. Mr. Han Ssam is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm! He immediately dove in to figure out my level in Korean where we then began practicing speaking and listening with engaging story sentences and questions. I was very nervous at first as that is not my area of expertise, but Mr. Han Ssam allowed me to go engage in a way that made me more comfortable each time I was provided the floor to speak. I definitely recommend trying out his class even once.

Learning Korean with 한쌈 has been an incredible experience. His teaching style is truly unique and highly effective. 한쌈 focuses on real-world conversational fluency, ensuring that I can confidently use the grammar we learn in everyday conversations. Han Ssam is very patient and encouraging. In the trial lesson he explained how his lessons are formatted and then we started with speaking practice. He includes simple explanations of a grammar structure, and then you practice it through the story, questions and answers. I really like the stories and visuals as prompts for questions and answers and simple story telling. In my lessons with another teacher we focused on working through a book and learning grammar, but I found myself unable to put what I’d learned together to speak effectively. This is exactly the kind of lesson format I was looking for. I highly recommend Han Ssam for anyone who wants to have a strong focus on speaking Korean.

The lesson was excellent! We practiced speaking a lot, built sentences, repeated stories, and did retellings. It’s a great method. I really enjoyed it and I’ll keep continuing. Thank you!
