In the lessons, we talked about different kinds of topics like daily life, politics, economy, etc. He encouraged me to share my opinions and assisted me understanding how to say like a mother tongue. In addition, he shared lots of practical language-learning experience during the lessons.

It was a great lesson. Paule helps me with correct pronounciation and has a very efficient teaching system.

Paule takes the time to understand my language goals and structures our lessons to help me achieve them. I find the Anki cards he prepares for me particularly helpful for revision, especially because they include his pronunciation. Paule is patient and has a great teaching demeanour.

Another good lesson. Paule is very good at tactfully suggesting improvements to what I say and the hour-long lesson just flew by as usual. I also learned a new trick for remembering adjective endings -- I can't believe I didn't know this before!

I’ve taken lessons with Paul for the last couple of years and he’s been a great help with improving my German and boosting my confidence with the language. There has never been a dull class as Paul is great at invoking discussion due to his many interests and vast experience as a teacher. Throughout my classes Paul has been great a providing a variety of general resources as well as ones that align specifically with my personal interests. Given Paul’s incredible English ability he has been great as a native English speaker myself when trying to convey idioms and the like that may not always translate directly. In the last year I successfully applied to and started a job working in German, which I attribute largely to the confidence boost received in my ability after working with Paul.
