CELTA-qualified native English teacher & PhD researcher, with specialism in academic writing. Hi everyone! I’m Robbie. I’m an English teacher from the UK with a CELTA qualification and PhD researcher at Newcastle University, focusing on education, language, and cross-cultural learning. I’ve taught English in China (你好我的中国朋友!), India, and the UK, both in classrooms and online, and I now teach students from all over the world. This international experience helps me adapt lessons to different learning styles and cultural backgrounds. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and practical, with a focus on confidence, fluency, and real communication. As a CELTA-qualified teacher and PhD researcher in language and education, I combine professional training with research-informed teaching methods and international classroom experience.
