Hi! My name is Conor and I am an English teacher here on italki. I studied Spanish and Geography in University College Dublin. After this, I completed the 120 Hour Advanced TEFL Qualification, as well as the 30 Hour Teaching English Online Course with the TEFL Institute of Ireland, before starting work as a soccer coach in a variety of different schools. I am from Dublin in Ireland and I currently live in Seville, Spain. My native language is English, and my accent isn't too strong! Outside of teaching I love sports, especially soccer. I have worked as a full-time soccer coach for the last 5 years. I'm also interested in cooking and fitness. I like to put the student's individual needs at the centre of the learning process. My own experience of majoring in Spanish in university allowed me to understand the most effective techniques to use when teaching a new language. This, combined with my TEFL Certificate, has enabled me to understand how to best help any student of any standard to meet their English language goals. I really enjoy my lessons with this tutor. We discuss different topics every time, which helps me understand what subjects I feel confident in and where I still need improvement. It is also a great way to learn and expand my vocabulary. Another thing I appreciate is that the teacher corrects my mistakes, which helps me improve my English more effectively.

Conor es un excelente profesor, llevo ya varios meses en clases con el y estoy muy satisfecho con su método de enseñanza y con los resultados obtenidos. Te motiva para que te expreses durante toda la clase y te corrije cuando es necesario. En cada clase prepara un tema para desarrollar, que incluye pronunciación, vocabulario y comprensión. Además, adapta todas las clases a tus intereses. Por último, comentar que es una excelente persona.
