My name is Mariam and I am a Canadian, with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Dubai. I'm currently undergoing my Masters in Education from California, USA.
I also have a certificate in Child Development & Behaviour so I teach younger children & teenagers, as well as adults.
I have lived all over Canada since my early childhood years and have been a native speaker since then. I have also lived in the U.A.E, Libya and Egypt.
I'm fluent in the language of my mother-tongue (of my birth country- Iraq) (Arabic).
I have five English publications under my pen name- Mariam Al Qudsi; a poetry book as well as a scientific article, 2 childrens books, and a short novel.Minha atuação como professor
ACCENT: (proper pronunciation) I can deliver the Canadian accent to you in an easy & achievable way.
SCHOOL/WORK: We can work on presentations & speaking tasks together to ensure proper grammar on final drafts.
READING: I have a series of books, paragraphs, articles and PowerPoint presentations for one-on-one reading. This is a great method to learning pronunciation, as well as new vocabulary and every day idioms.
IELTS: (note- I am not a certified IELTS coach. I have just learned tricks to achieving great IELTS exam results (high bands), with past-paper practice)

We will have one-on-one talking sessions, including everyday common language conversations. I have also prepared slides and downloaded stories and text paragraphs for you to read to me. I may also test you on Native English (Canadian) vocabulary and terms, including idioms!
You may express your concerns in English, whether it be speaking in public, or just general conversations and I will teach you tips and tricks to catch on quickly.
I can also send you links to videos and audio clips that will help you in between sessions, for a quicker and greater escalation.

Do bacharelado - PharmacyDuring my Bachelor of Pharmacy program at Dubai Pharmacy College, I studied a range of topics related to the pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, I gained practical experience through clinical rotations, where I had the opportunity to work alongside licensed pharmacists and apply my theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
