Super lesson with Maria! We talked about weather and snow. I brought up that I have trouble with verbs of motion, and Maria adjusted the lesson to talk about them. We also finished the slide deck on "entertainment". Maria is excellent at checking to see if I don't understand something and making sure that she updates our shared document so that I can review!

Fun lesson with Maria. We started with small talk, mostly both of us complaining about the cold weather. Maria had a lesson prepared about "entertainment", and she asked me about different things in my town. I told her about the restaurant festival and other events. Maria comes up with fun and interesting topics for the lesson. Maria is both patient and very helpful. I feel at ease in her lesson and enjoy learning with Maria!

Great lesson with Maria! We started with small talk. I told Maria that my brother got a new dog, so we talked about pets. Maria had a presentation ready about "living in the city". It is fun learning with Maria. When I say something incorrectly, Maria is really good at helping me understand what I meant to say!

Maria always brings fun and interesting topics for discussion to the lesson, and it was definitely fun talking about entertainment!

Great lesson with Maria! We continued our conversation about "city life vs. country life". We also talked about vegetables, especially potatoes. Maria updated our shared document with the new vocabulary and useful sentences, as she does every time. Learning with Maria is really helping me to speak naturally and to listen naturally. Maria is very encouraging and motivating because she believes in me!

Great lesson with Maria! Today's theme was "sports". We talked about different sports that we did and different ones that we like. We both had some funny stories to tell about sports. Maria does a really nice job coming up with materials and topics for the lesson, as well as asking me when she's not sure if I understood something or not!
