Yurika Yamaguchi

I have been taking classes with Yurika for a while now and I’ve enjoyed every single lesson with her. As a teacher, Yurika is energetic, patient, and incredibly sweet, always making sure I understand what she is saying and giving me plenty of opportunities to speak and express myself - always willing to help me create correct sentences if I’m challenging myself beyond the level of Japanese I am comfortable with. If I have a specific grammar point that I want to delve into, Yurika will prepare a lesson tailored towards that specific request. In case I don’t have any requests myself, she has plenty of ideas of what grammar and vocabulary I should learn next, always making sure to challenge me without going uncomfortably above my level. I always leave her lessons feeling like I’ve learned something new while having a lot of fun. She speaks English well and can explain both vocabulary and grammar in English, when I do not understand the Japanese explanation. ゆりかさん、今までありがとうございます！

She teaches very well, explains clearly, and is patient. She is very kind and doesn't put pressure on me during class. I always enjoy the class and learn a lot. :)

Thanks a bunch for the nice lesson! I've noticed that now I'm becoming more able to express myself in Japanese; moreover, thanks to Yurika-sensei I'm now able to explain the meaning of the word in Japanese instead of giving just an English translation - and this shows my progress quite clearly (I hadn't been able to do so before I started having lessons with Yurika-sensei). また来週！
