Hello! I’m Alex—I am a friendly, patient and approachable teacher of English as a foreign language. I teach English for a variety of purposes, including Conversational Language ,exam preparation (e.g. PET, FCE, CAE, CPE and IELTS), as well as General English, Business English and English for Academic Purposes. I am also a teacher trainer and have experience of preparing existing and prospective language teachers for the Cambridge TKT exam and the CELTA qualification. I am experienced in teaching English to all ages and levels (from beginner to advanced). 🔆Having taught for several years in both schools and online, teaching all ages from 3 - 75 years old, I have now taught more than 25,000 hours both online and in the classroom.
🔆I can assist you in achieving your goals in a timely and effective manner.
🔆I have studied these tests in full and prepared appropriate materials, which has led to my students achieving excellent marks at an extremely high pass rate. Some even hitting 90 in PTE, 8.5 in IELTS and 100% of my students have passed OET and PLAB 2!

To help my students begin using new words and phrases as soon as possible, I believe in teaching language that is fun and functional. I aim to give students more confidence in their speaking and listening, and I encourage them to enjoy learning.
