Hello! My name is Svetlana. I was born in Saint Petersburg, but I’ve been living in Spain for nine years now. I love traveling and reading, spending time with my family, and walking our dogs. I love my job and feel proud of my students’ progress and achievements.

I’m a certified Russian as a Foreign Language teacher for adults and children. I create warm, comfortable lessons tailored to each student’s goals and pace. I also enjoy working with bilingual learners. I’m always learning and currently completing a professional development program in Neuroeducation to make language learning easier and more enjoyable.
Я сертифицированный преподаватель РКИ для взрослых и детей. Создаю тёплые и комфортные уроки, подстраивая их под цели и темп каждого ученика. Также работаю с билингвами. In my lessons, we talk about real-life situations — travel, work, and everyday communication. I use the communicative approach, so you start speaking Russian from the very first lesson, fully immersing yourself in the language. Grammar is also part of the process, but it comes alive through conversation.
На моих уроках мы говорим о реальных жизненных ситуациях: путешествия, работа, повседневное общение. Я использую коммуникативную методику — вы начинаете говорить по-русски с самого первого занятия, погружаясь в языковую среду. Svetlana was well prepared for the trial lesson for my son.
The class felt very encouraging as she made Russian languagw appear less challenging by including a lot of international and easily recognisable vocabulary so my son felt some real progress after the trial lesson.
