After graduating from university, I decided that I wanted to study Mandarin Chinese, and since my community is so small, I became frustrated since I didn't have access to in-person classes or an in-person tutor to help me progress.. I came across Italki and signed up for my first lessons as a student. I enjoyed my lessons and wanted to be able to help to students who are wanting to learn English. For that reason, I became an Italki teacher in early 2014 and have been teaching ever since.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
Lesson policies:
*30 minute lessons will last 25 minutes, and 60 minute lessons will last 55 minutes. This allows me to prepare for the following lesson
*I request payment for lessons cancelled less than 24 hours before lesson start time.
*Classes for students aged 18+
For informal tutoring, I offer casual, conversation based lessons based on a topic of the student's choosing. I can also help with proofreading written work and making suggestions to improve it.
I also provide lessons to help students practice the speaking sections of the IELTS and TOEFL (ibt) exams.Meu material de ensino

She is a very punctual, prepared teacher. The class was very good. I was happy to hear Kate talking. Her pronunciation is excellent. As she wrote what I did not know, talk, it was great because she got registered on my skype for future studies. I plan to do more classes with Kate because I felt she is a very good teacher. Thank you.

Kate is a pleasant person who knows how to conduct the class in a friendly and intelligent manner. We don't even notice the time passing during her lessons. Kate knows how to give feedback in the right measure. She is an excellent English teacher.
