*გამარჯობა!* I’m Tinatin, a native Georgian speaker from Tbilisi with a love for languages, art, and exploring the world. As a traveler myself, I understand the joy of speaking even basics of a local language—that’s why I love helping beginners start their Georgian journey with practical, fun lessons. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me sketching, walking, learning a language or planning my next trip. I'm fluent in English, understand Russian well and just started speaking Italian too!

I started teaching Georgian in mid-2022 and it took me only a week to fall in love with this job. I enjoy meeting new people; I also like sharing my knowledge. So being a teacher gives me an opportunity to have both.

Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino

If you just started learning Georgian, I will teach you the alphabet, reading, writing, and pronunciation. I will teach you basic, most frequently used words and phrases. Afterward, we can move to the conversational part and reading/listening comprehension. If you have basic knowledge, we can have free conversations during which I will correct your mistakes, give you suggestions, and provide you with new words. I prefer customized lessons based on the student's needs and experiences instead of having a strict structure since different people might have different preferences, experiences, desires. Therefore, I am open to any suggestions. Let's meet and discuss our own preferable lesson style

Tinatin is a wonderful teacher to have. Our lessons together are a highlight of my week. I appreciate her patience and feel empowered by her praise and encouragement. I feel that I have made some significant strides in Georgian and it is all because of her. I look forward to our continued lessons.

Conversation practice is going well. I appreciated some grammar, especially direct and indirect pronoun affixes on verbs. As always, very practical vocabulary.

Tinatin is an awesome teacher who does a great job at shaping the lessons to fit the student's learning style. During today's lesson, we practiced conjugated verb tenses while introducing new vocabulary. I found it to be a very helpful exercise and felt my confidence growing as we continued to practice.
