Timpika

I have now done over 100 lessons with Timpika, with that in mind you can rightly assume that I have been very happy to have her as my teacher!! Timpika is very good at her job, she prepares great quality reading material that has really helped me feel more comfortable reading in thai, and she clearly makes an effort to find content that appeals to her students. Perhaps the best thing about Timpika is how easy she is to talk to, conversations with her are long and engaging, you never feel like you've run out of things to say as she often keeps the conversation going herself, this makes lessons with her very pleasant and never boring! I am very happy with Kru Timpika and will probably end up doing another hundred lessons with her!

Om-Amm is wonderful. she is patient and really help guide you through speaking properly. Encourages you as you try to remember and reacts with posifeedback when you get it right while providing gentle guidance when you get it wrong. She genuinely seems to be happy when you succeed and improve. She provides an excellent balance between quizzing you on what you've learned in the past and pushing you to advance your speaking skills.

Kru Timpika has helped me go from a beginner in Thai to passing the ultimate test - taking a two-week tour of Thailand and being able to communicate in Thai in almost any scenario. I always knew I could learn vocabulary and phrases on paper, but I was pleasantly surprised when local Thais understood what I was saying and responded back in Thai. But enough about me. Kru Timpika is a very effective teacher. An hour-long lesson will just fly by because she is a patient and pleasant person, but she will also keep you on task and making progress each week. Lessons are flexible depending on your personal goals; conversation, reading, travel tips, learning Thai culture, etc. Always professional; on time, focused, quality internet connection, quiet learning environment. Although I am a beginner in Thai, the flow of conversation is great. I really learned a lot from the class.

Timpika is so nice and easygoing. I told her in our first lesson the reason I'm learning Thai, and she uses my interests in the lessons, which makes the Thai easier to remember because I have something to reference it to. We work on communication phrases and tone corrections. Even though I'm learning Thai for fun, she breaks down the sentences we are saying so I can understand why and what I'm saying instead of memorizing them, which is really helpful.
