Somaia had a number of teaching materials at hand and was patient and encouraging as I struggled through reading and pronouncing a number of Arabic words initially. I am happy with the trial lesson and I am seriously considering taking further lessons from her.

Somaia speaks the right mix of Arabic and English for me as Mid Intermediate student. She can answer my translation questions, but we spoke 95% of the time in Arabic. She accommodated my tie-in's from my self-directed studies, while also providing a structured lesson to support my goals in colloquial dialogue.
