I have decades of teaching experience, the last nine of which I have also taught online. I enjoy contact with people and languages have always been my passion.

I try to adapt to the wishes of my students: Some want to discuss or chat, with others I work on material that I have prepared. I use modern, activating methods that practice various skills, speaking, reading and listening. I have material for different language levels and adapt to the abilities of each individual student. I like to use paintings, photos or drawings as a basis for discussion in many (not all) of my lessons and I also provide short stories or exercise material that we work on together. The use of a digital pencil on a whiteboard that I share with the student, perfectly mimics the teaching situation of a traditional classroom. After the lesson, the student gets a short video allowing him to revise the lesson steps. The following lesson begins with a short review phase after which we turn to a new topic.Meu material de ensino

Christine is an exceptional teacher, her lessons are very detailed and creative, very effective, and she always draws on the German culture, literature, art and music, something that many language learners struggle to connect with, as there are so many distracting resources nowadays, but the depth and breadth of the German culture is there, but often remains hidden. Thank you very much, Christine, I am looking forward to our next lesson!

Wonderful first conversational lesson with Christine. When I unexpectedly ran late, she patiently waited for me and still ensured that our lesson was engaging and rich in content.
Christine is a natural teacher and it was easy and enjoyable to converse with her, despite my still limited vocabulary. If I was lost for the right word, she struck a great balance of offering corrections and/or help and allowing me a bit more time to mentally work through what I was trying to convey. Looking very much forward to our next lessons - highly recommended!

Der Unterricht mit Christine macht immer Spaß. Christine ist geduldig und als Anfängerin verstehe ich ihr Deutsch immer sehr gut. Ich lerne oft neue und interessante Dinge und lustige Geschichten von Christine.

je voulais avoir une conversation en allemand, le but étant de maintenir mon niveau et d'améliorer mon expression orale.
Nous avons fait connaissance et la demi-heure correspondait exactement à mes attentes.
De plus, le contact est bien passé.
