Tony Filho

I have multiple teachers on this platform and Tony is my favorite. He makes classes fun and teaches at my level very well. I have seen much improvement in my Portuguese and have a lot of confidence to speak with others now. I genuinely look forward to our classes, to improve my Portuguese and also to understand the culture.

Tony is an incredible tutor and I highly recommend taking a class with him to get your Portuguese started. I've been taking courses on on this platform for Spanish and so when I decided to do Portuguese, Tony went above and beyond for our lesson. Super prepared, fun and humble. I'll definitely take another lesson soon.

He is a very patient person. He is really good about keeping the conversation going in class and always has me laughing with his good sense of humor. He also corrects me when I make mistakes in Portuguese in a way that is very constructive and has helped me feel comfortable speaking in Portuguese. When I am speaking with him, I feel like I am talking with an old friend. Very kind person. :)

I really enjoy my Portuguese classes with Tony!! He's very dynamic, patient and always brings great energy to the lessons. He's also really fun to talk to, which makes the classes feel relaxed and easy, I always look forward to them! What I especially appreciate is how he adapts each lesson to my individual needs and pace. His slides are clearly very well prepared and helpful, he explains everything in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The conversation practice is great, I've already noticed an improvement in my confidence when speaking. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone, no matter their level - ele é um excelente professor, recomendo muito :)
