Ciao! My name is Grazia, and I am from Sicily. I studied English and Spanish at the University of Florence, and I am now specialising in teaching Italian as a foreign language. I have over 5 years of experience teaching languages, including Italian to beginners and intermediate students. I have lived in several cities across Italy, as well as abroad in Spain and Australia. My most recent work was in Melbourne, where I taught Italian to students of different ages. This experience made me realise how much I enjoy helping students practise Italian and gave me the chance to understand the best ways to teach my language to English speakers.Minha atuação como professor
I am a patient and friendly tutor who loves helping you feel comfortable. Having studied languages myself, I understand the fears and challenges you may face, so I create a relaxed environment where you can practise without pressure. My lessons are tailored to your starting level, interests and goals. The activities I propose are communicative (role play, guided dialogues, image descriptions), so you can start speaking Italian from the very first lesson.
For grammar, I use an inductive method, helping you notice and understand the rules through examples. If a lesson focuses on conversation only, I provide an article or a video in advance with useful vocabulary. At the end of each lesson, you will receive notes with corrections and all the new expressions you have learnt.Meu material de ensino

I am doing her topic-based conversations, and it is very well structured. She gives me something to read and think about. Then we have questions and discussions about that topic. This approach helps me build vocabulary in areas that I might otherwise skip.
