Hello! I’m AKO. I have worked in Japanese companies as a system engineer and in administrative roles. With over 20 years of professional experience, I can teach practical, real-world business Japanese that is actually used in the workplace. I love traveling to different countries and talking with people from all over the world to learn about different cultures. I am gentle and calm, so you can feel relaxed and comfortable during my lessons. I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2021. While continuing my corporate career in Japan, I also teach practical Japanese online on weekends. I’m new here, but I already have over 150 hours of teaching experience on other platforms. I’ve also studied English for many years, so I truly understand how fun and challenging it can be to learn a second language. I teach practical, real-world business Japanese with a focus on polite and professional communication that helps you avoid sounding rude in the workplace. Using my real experience in Japanese companies, I make lessons clear, practical, and enjoyable. I use original 6-lesson course materials designed to help you build useful workplace communication skills step by step. After each lesson, you will receive a PDF summary so you can review and continue learning effectively. Please check my lesson details for more information!
