My name is Marina. I was born and raised in Russia but started traveling around the world at the age of 18. Since then I have lived and worked in quite a number of countries.
For the last 17 years (except for the 2 years that I spent in Victoria BC, Canada and a year in Mauritius) I've been living in different parts of Turkey. Teaching is my passion and I would love to share what I know with others. There is nothing better than speaking to your student in a new language after some time!Minha atuação como professor
I am a native Russian speaker.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics. I obtained several certificates of English during my studies, a TEFL certificate from the University of Toronto, and a “Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language” diploma from Moscow State University.
I started teaching in 2001 and since then I have taught English, Russian and Turkish in Primary, Middle School, Language Courses and also in private.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
Communication is the key. So after an introduction of a piece of grammar of new words we will use it all in speaking activities.
I believe that the main task of a teacher is helping the student overcome his or her fear and start talking. Making mistakes at first, but getting better and better every day. Through smiles, encouragement, games and, let's face the truth, hard work - I will help you gain more confidence and let the world hear your voice in the desired language.
Just believe that any language can be learned. Whatever reason you have for studying it - either traveling, working, or preparing for exams - it can be done.Meu material de ensino

Marina is great at listening and providing feedback! I really hope I can improve my language skills in Russian :) Also her method seems very useful to me, as when I was at school, my lessons were less practical and more grammar related only.

I am am a native Russian speaker, but with time my skills fell off because I didn't practice the practice enough, so now she helped me with the alphabet on my first lesson and I plan on studying with her because the first impression was 10/10
