She is very well prepared for the class explains to you the weekly goals of what you will learn, and also very educated in formal and informal ways to speak the language. Two thumbs up. Over the years, I've taken 285 lessons on iTalki. I have to say that April has really stood out as a great teacher. She is spending time outside of class preparing materials to make our classes better. She is always happy and energetic. I can't say enough good things about her.

The teacher's punctuality is highly appreciated, and her professionalism is evident in every interaction. With her specialized degree in teaching Filipino, I have full confidence in her instruction. It sets her apart from other tutors. I'm grateful for her patient correction of my pronunciation. I'm continuously expanding my vocabulary with her guidance. Her flexibility in accommodating my learning preferences makes her a standout teacher.

Clear, concise, polite and warm. Always a pleasure, never a chore with April Ruth! We are focusing on Object focused structures, something I'm finding a bit challenging however, with April Ruth's guidance, I know it will all make sense eventually. I have a defined structure to work from, and creating sentences is an immense help.

Learned a lot on this lesson. When you're diving into Cebuano, you gotta have someone who can straighten out your grammar hiccups and catch your slip-ups, so you don't pick up bad habits. Especially if you're coming from learning Tagalog like me, because I keep messing up those pronouns!
