My name is Oubo-Gaou Abdou-Rassidou, a linguist with a passion for language education and cultural preservation. Although Ewe is not my native language, I achieved native-level proficiency by growing up in a community where it was spoken. I hold a master’s degree in linguistics from Khazar University, along with a diploma in Arabic from Qatar University, and have taught English and French. My Ewe lessons focus on speaking and listening, guiding students from zero knowledge to complete fluency. Through a highly interactive and conversational approach, I help learners build confidence in expressing themselves naturally in Ewe. Each lesson is designed to engage students in real-life dialogues and practical conversations, gradually improving their speaking and listening skills. Rashid is clearly very gifted in demystifying the Ewe language. I haven't ever met someone who knows how to equip someone with the basics in simply one hour! I am heritage learner and none of my family has been able to accomplish what he did in the first session. I will be booking more with him and looking forward to a higher level of proficiency in speaking with relatives.

By only the second lesson, am I already speaking simple sentences that I can use with my family! I haven't been able to do that before. As long as one comes motivated and prepared (having revised the previous sessions notes completely), Mr. Abdul Rashid will help you learn Ewe extremely fast!!
