Cyril Clt

I’ve been taking lessons with Cyril for more than six months now, my overall experience has been outstanding. Cyril is a highly skilled, reliable, patient and humorous teacher. His classes are well balanced, interesting, varied and relevant to the goals one wishes to achieve at all time. The classes focus not only on the grammatical elements of the French language but also on its evolution including street language and idioms. A further element that makes Cyril’s classes interesting and entertaining is the usage of various methods used to introduce you into the french culture, traditions and idiosyncrasies. I’d highly recommend Cyril’s classes to anyone wanting to make fast progresses in his learning.

Cyril has a very steady and assuring approach to his lessons. He provides guidance where needed, while remaining open to the interests and curiosity of the student. His interjections, corrections and tips are always well-timed, strategic and helpful. I look forward to my next lessson!

Cyril's approach to lessons is both attentive and laid-back. He seeks out teachable moments (particularily with pronunciation -- very helpful!), but also allows the student space and freedom to make mistakes and find their way. As a teacher conversant on a range of topics, he is able to help students expand their vocabulary in topics that interest them. He also challenges students with his own list of terms and phrases that he provides in every lesson. I would highly recomend Cyril if you are looking to take your French to the next level.

I only knew a few words of French, but my first lesson with Cyril was great. He explained things really clearly, gave me practical exercises right away, and made it easy to follow.

Cyril is both extremely professional, focussing on assisting my learning at all times, but does so in a way that keeps me engaged, with stories and anecdotes. Although he must have many more talented students, he is endlessly patient. I wish I could say the same about my French teachers at school (although that was almost 50 years ago..!)
