Mathilde is super friendly and crammed a lot of knowledge in our first lesson. Highly recommend for those looking for a comfortable and effective learning environment!

Mathilde is such a lovely teacher! From the minute that I joined the call, I felt at ease and in a comfortable environment to try and talk in French without fear of making mistakes. She prepared for the trial lesson beforehand by reading my profile and asked me questions about topics that I'm interested in, and how I would like the lessons to work. I really enjoyed it, would definitely recommend!

Great lesson with Mathilde! We talked about a lot of things - including gardening and Mathilde's cat. Mathilde also reviewed verb groups agreement with the passé composé and using the past tenses (imparfait, plus-que-parfait, etc.). It was a very productive lesson!

Mathilde made me feel comfortable right as class began and provided great insight and feedback about my language learning goals. She also has an awesome personality that shines through, making you feel engaged at all times. Overall excellent trial class!

Great lesson with Mathilde! We talked about the forest fires happening in Canada. Mathilde discussed several different provinces in Canada, and expensive bridge tolls. We also talked about native peoples and how they are represented in Canada vs. the US. It was very interesting, and we discussed the topics with sensitivity and understanding!

Great lesson with Mathilde! Mathilde talked about organizing an event and the challenges she is facing. We talked about studying Chinese and Korean, and using various tools and techniques to help us (like using Anki and doing shadowing). I admitted that I don't have too many cards (or add too many cards) for French. It was a very interesting discussion!
