Hello, I am Heeyeon Choi, and I’m a Korean language teacher.
I hold a Level 2 Korean Language Teaching Certificate and have about 6 years of teaching experience.
I am a very responsible and dedicated person, and I truly enjoy learning about new cultures and meeting new people.
I also lived in the Netherlands for five years, where I was able to experience many different cultures firsthand.
During that time, I also came to understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture.
With my background and experiences, I’m ready to help you learn Korean in a way that feels easy, engaging, and enjoyable—even though it may be a new language and culture for you.Minha atuação como professor
I have taught conversation-focused classes at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels at multicultural centers, and I also conducted pronunciation classes for advanced learners in Korea for 3 years.
While living in the Netherlands, I taught Korean conversation and business Korean to employees of Korean companies for 3 years.
In addition, through private tutoring, I have led classes using news articles, novels, and other materials to explore Korean society and culture.
These diverse teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students of different backgrounds and goals, and they have given me the flexibility to adapt my teaching style to meet each learner’s needs.Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
The classes will be conducted according to your level, study goals, and interests.
Basically, we will learn based on Korean textbooks and use various audiovisual materials that fit the subject of the class.
For Beginner class,we learn how to read and write accurately, starting with the invention principles of Hangul(Korean letters), by learning the pronunciation, and the order in which to write correctly.
For Intermediate class, intermediate-level learners study how to communicate in a wider variety of conversation situations.
For Advanced class, in addition to textbooks, we study high-level Korean using materials such as news and novels.
