Javi looks for ways to gradually nudge me out of my comfort zone in order to build more vocabulary and use the language beyond the usual scenarios. It was definitely an interesting exercise. I’ve been enjoying the assignment tasks so far. :)

It was a nice session with Javi. I appreciate his style of correction where he doesn’t interrupt you while you’re speaking. He also makes sure you understand the “why” behind corrections so that they stick better instead of blindly following— which fits my style of learning. Thanks, Javi!

Really enjoyed working with Javi!

Javi is very patient and puts together seemingly simple exercises that effectively reinforce the “why” behind grammar rules so you can develop a deeper understanding without the technical terms.

Today kicks off our recurring sessions and it was nice to see how organized Javi is to make sure you that you have everything you picked up from class in one place. He meets you at your level and is able to adjust accordingly. He also gives homework because I asked for some (he won't if you don't like them). Thanks, Javi!
