Vikas intuitively knows which words I don't understand and explains them in a very organic way, most of the time without breaking the flow of the Hindi conversation. He is very knowledgeable about literature Hindi, Sanskrit and also conversational Hindi, as well as English so he can grasp, and in turn also teach "the whole story" if you will. Plus, I am impressed with the content of the epics as well. Finally they're accessible to me thanks to Vikas' comprehensive knowledge and teaching skills!

This was a really outstanding class with Vikas! He has been absolutely forthcoming and dealt with some occuring tech issues in a very professional manner. However the main reason why I will book more classes though is the following: After we had been taking a look at the literature Hindi translation of a chapter of the Mahabharata which was too difficult for me to understand in the first class, I had asked him to explain the story to me in simple Hindi. He did so flawlessly in the second class, and made his Hindi explanations understandable to me in a very smart way: He caught the Hindi nouns I struggled to understand and translated them into english briefly, but promptly switched back to Hindi after that. Hence, I got extremely valuable Hindi input for the whole class time and understood from context. On top of all that, the material we are looking at is really interesting for me. So in summary, I can't imagine a more efficient or more engaging way to learn Hindi!
