Great lesson with Junko! We started with conversation about New Year's and retro trends in Japan. Junko also told me about her recent trip to Harajuku. After that, we moved to lesson 10 in the textbook. The first exercise was to look at different class descriptions and describe the details of the class (when the class meets, number of sessions, cost, etc.). Junko had some fun stories!

Great lesson with Junko! We started with small talk about Christmas, gingerbread, etc. After that, we learned about asking for help with Japanese. We talked about different ways of improving language skills, which was very interesting. Junko keeps encouraging me and can notice that my Japanese skill is improving. Junko is very fun in the lesson and it is nice to learn from her about Japanese people and their habits!

Great lesson with Junko! We started with small talk about weather, school conference and about a young girl from the US that Junko is teaching. After that, we did listening and shadowing exercises from the textbook and learned two new grammar points. It was also fun talking about dramas with Junko!

Great lesson with Junko! We started with small talk about New Year's, plans and ice cream. After that, we did the shadowing exercises from lesson 9. In a few places, the recording was too fast for me to shadow correctly..but overall it was good. Next, we did a kanji practice. We finished up with the culture notes from the lesson. It was a fun lesson and I liked doing the shadowing!

Great lesson with Junko! We talked about snow and going to the dentist, and about the Christmas market. We continued working on lesson 9 in the textbook. We learned about asking for help with Japanese. It was fun talking about the different traditions and holiday times!

Great lesson with Junko! We started with small talk about weather and current events. I find myself gradually able to understand more of the small talk, which is encouraging. After that, we continued working on lesson 9 in the textbook. There was some new vocabulary and a lot of listening practice. Junko has a nice sense of humor and is very easygoing!
