Hello. My name is Jihun Kim. I was born in South Korea in 1999 and am currently living in Poland. Until July 2024, I worked for three years in the education field in Korea. Then, with a new goal in mind, I left Korea in August 2024 and relocated to Poland.
One of the first steps toward achieving my new goal is to begin working as a teacher. I took the first step by becoming a Korean language tutor on italki and making a strong, successful start.
I am committed to doing my best to become a dedicated tutor who helps learners interested in Korea, Korean language, and Korean culture—especially those who often feel they lack sufficient understanding—gain the knowledge and confidence they seek.Minha atuação como professor
I’ve always admired the teaching profession. In June 2021, I began working as a private tutor and academy instructor, teaching math and later science. As demand for tutoring grew, I focused solely on private lessons until June 2023. Later, I joined a major Korean education company as a professional teacher, continuing to tutor in parallel.
Teaching has given me meaningful experiences, and seeing students grow through my lessons has been truly rewarding. I currently teach Korean to foreign learners and will continue striving to be an even better educator. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
I tailor each lesson to the student’s level and needs, not my own preferences. For difficult topics, I provide clear and simple explanations, often using media to help understanding. I prefer engaging and interesting topics over dry, rigid material, to make learning enjoyable.
My lessons are structured clearly, and homework is given in moderation. Most importantly, I invest my time and energy to help students improve their Korean skills day by day, ensuring they feel progress and confidence after each class.Meu material de ensino
