Hello! I'm Nana.
I'm certified as a Nationally Registered Japanese Language Teacher (登録日本語教員).
I also have over 10 years of experience working as a software engineer in Japan.
I was born in Hokkaido and speak standard Japanese.
I also studied in Australia for a year, so I can understand basic English.
I'd love to use my experiences to support your Japanese learning, as well as your daily life and work!
Besides teaching Japanese, I also love taking care of my pet rabbit🐇

また、ソフトウェアエンジニアとして、日本のIT企業で10年以上働いていました。
北海道出身で、標準の日本語を話します。
オーストラリアに1年留学した経験があるので、基本的な英語も理解できます。

It was obtained by acquiring practical knowledge and skills through a Japanese language teacher training course and by passing the Japanese language teacher examination.

Today was my third JLPT grammar review class with Nana-sensei. She’s always encouraging, her lessons are well-structured, and she gives clear instructions for homework after each class. I also really appreciate how she takes time to prepare detailed notes on the difficult grammar points we discuss. I could not be happier to have Nana-Sensei as my teacher and definitely plan to keep learning with her for a long time!

I’ve been really enjoying my lessons with Nana san! She’s incredibly kind and patient, and always makes me feel comfortable asking questions - no matter how small. I really appreciate how she is with scheduling, and how she creates a safe, supportive space where it’s okay to make mistakes. Her materials are always helpful and well-organized, which makes learning so much easier. I highly recommend Nana san as italki tutor !🥰
