MIKA（みか）

I enjoy my lessons with Mika-san very much, as a native Japanese speaker she gives me a lot of good insights on Japanese culture and conversation! I've been preparing for a trip to Japan and we have been going over common small talk topics I might encounter, which makes me feel a lot more prepared :)

Mika-sensei is a very pleasant person, she made a pretty and structured presentation for me and guided me even through my self-introduction, which helped a lot, because I was anxious. We decided together on my goals and I'm feeling motivated💪🏻 I'm honestly glad I found Mika-sensei, it was fun to practice talking with her.

Mika is very patient and kind! I enjoy our lessons, they are very fun and laid back, I never feel too pressured or confused with the amount of new material presented. Mika is helpful with questions I have as well!

みか先生 is an incredible teacher who immediately recognized my needs from the very first lesson and tailored her approach perfectly to match them. She focuses on real-life practice, which is exactly what I was looking for, especially as I'm preparing for my first trip to Japan later this year. The lessons are slightly above my current level, but that’s exactly what I need to get used to hearing and responding to natural Japanese. みか先生 creates a supportive and immersive environment that challenges me in a way that feels productive and motivating. She is patient, encouraging, and great at explaining things in a way that makes sense. If you're looking for a teacher who listens, adapts, and pushes you in just the right way, I highly recommend みか先生!

Mika san has provided engaging lessons and was very open to adjusting the lesson towards my style of learning. She patiently allowed me to make mistakes and offered helpful advice without correcting me too quickly. Mika san took great care in making sure I understood the material as we covered it by asking me questions and drew upon past discussions to make the lessons more relavant to my experience.
