Mika is an exceptional teacher that I would recommend to any English speaker interested in learning Japanese. She's very engaged, explains the material thoroughly, and provides lots of helpful feedback. More than that, she's willing to go the extra mile and provide students with quite a bit of useful material free of charge. Something I was particularly grateful for was a Google Doc she made before my trip to Japan a few months ago which included grammar and phrases that were more refined and trip focused than the material you find in all of the popular Japanese textbooks. I wound up downloading to my phone and referring to it throughout my trip. Just a great teacher all around.

Mika先生 is great! It was really helpful to use the textbook together, and she provided slides of her own as well. The lesson was really fun and enjoyable overall and I can already tell that the new vocabulary and grammar I learned will be easy to remember thanks to her lesson.

Mika-sensei was very helpful during this lesson. She helped me through the difficult parts and gave me constructive suggestions when I asked. The suggestions will help me become more confident I believe. Great lesson!

I always feel like I learn a lot in Mika-sensei's lessons! She makes things really easy to understand and answers all my questions in ways that are easy to understand.
