We are still learning basic vocabulary, but there is plenty to study between lessons. When we get to building sentences, I think this foundation will help! Deepthi Gaarandi is very patient and makes sure to make time for my questions before moving on. I ask some weird questions, and she treats all of them equally!

Our tiral lesson we learned only a few phrases. This time we covered SO much. I could tell she would have slowed down had I needed some time to fully understand, but with my previous language learning experience, I am picking these beginning phrases up quickly! I'll enjoy that while it lasts. She gave me a look ahead to what we will do in our next lesson and when I can start looking for some practice exercises. She has a good idea of pacing and I'm happy to let her lead that.
