Xiaolei

Xiaolei’s calm and encouraging approach makes conversational practice easy and interesting, she understands English well and gives good suggestions on how to phrase sentences when I get stuck. I would highly recommend her for improving spoken Mandarin. Also, her time zone allows more time options than China-based teachers which can be useful.

The strong points of her lesson are 'easy', 'interesting' and 'fun'. I'm taking her lesson three times per week. It's so satisfying. I can see my Chinese is getting better. So if you are not able to speak fluently but only are able to speak confidently, I guaranty that She will help you improve your Chinese.

It went great! She was well prepared with visuals for my children. They enjoyed their lesson. We look forward to more lessons with her. She is engaged and desires to create a fun lesson for them. She is always trying to improve her lessons.

In our first lesson, we got to know each other, gauged my level, explored my goals and interests in the language, selected materials and made a plan for future lessons, and did a simple review of basic Chinese expressions, Q&A, and words. 谢谢你

Xiaolei is the best! I’m a heritage speaker and don’t use my Chinese often since I no longer live with my parents, so it’s been wonderful to maintain my Chinese through conversations with Xiaolei. We’ve talked about so many different topics and my vocabulary has expanded so much and so naturally. She is super patient, friendly, and kind no matter the level you’re at. I look forward to my lessons each week, and my mom has even commented that my Chinese has improved so much since starting my lessons :) thank you so much, Xiaolei!!!
